Whoever Hath Ears to Hear...
Redeemer of Israel
I learned to play this, and dang, it's HARD!!! The first 2 verses are pretty easy, but once it gets faster on the last 2, it's like death. I remember when I was first trying to learn to play this song, I watched the tutorial by this guy (Ben Howington, who is an amazing guitarist, check out his stuff at mormonguitar.com, he's awesome), and he said the inspiration of this arrangement was from the pioneers, how at first their hope and faith probably were small, that they were probably afraid of what was going to happen. Then, as their faith strengthened and as they found more hope, their stamina and spirits also strengthened. As we put forth our effort to do God's will, our livelihoods can strengthen also.
Some of my favorite talks

The words of Church leaders often help me to better understand the gospel and inspire me to be a better person.
This song isn't specifically LDS, but I really like the message of it and it's a really perty song. I love that it talks about relying on Christ and trusting that He is leading us to where we need to go.

To me, music is the best way to find peace and solace. Hymns and Primary songs really help me to feel inspired and feel better about life. These are among my favorite hymns of all time.
This talk is just awesome. Plus it's President Uchtdorf, so it's even better.
